Where Does Time Go?

These two boys have dates to the Homecoming Dance tonight. They're in the 9th and 10th grade now. How did this happen so fast? This picture was just taken yesterday.

When you think about this universe we inhabit, a lifetime to us is but a mere micro-second.

I know. And I have three whom may make it to high school. As long as their guardian angel keeps them in line.

Ok, I'm with you, for at leat one day being Sunday lets not think about the economy or the campaign or the stock market or the market. Think about
the leaves falling and the trees turning colors and the sun shinning. For a day, anyway. Have a great weekend. said...

Chuck, Hope your boys had a great time at their dance! We are blessed to have our beautiful children that we love so much. Life is flying by so we better make it the best life we can!

It's unbelievable how quickly the time passes.

That was a beautiful post, just fitting for a beautiful fall Sunday morning.

MK, I like the timelines that show human existance as the 'last seconds of December 31st...' it's humbling.

Obob, lol. At times I think their guardian angels worked overtime. They're good kids though. And I also have a third, younger, daughter. She won't be dating for 30 or 40 years so that isn't a problem.

NY Guy, thanks but don't worry, reality is sure to smack me in the head later in the day. It is good to take a reality break occasionally though.

Gail, they both had a great time, they hang around with pretty good kids.

Pasadena, I still remember the day 15 years ago that I brought the oldest one home.

Thanks, DD2. Actually we are having the perfect fall day here, sunny, trees turning. The boys don't know it yet but this all adds up to work cutting wood. lol.
