Can't We All Just Get Along?

Just a quick thought looking back on the week's events. I think the thing that strikes me the most and leaves me chuckling is this new found desire for bipartisanship on the left.

After 8 years of the most horrific attacks on George Bush, and not just from the bloggers at Huffington or Kos, but the very people in power now. From Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, on down.

The vitriol from the left. Calling Bush a murderer and terrorist, a retard, a liar, and things I will not print here.

Now all of a sudden the left has a new religion. All we are hearing this week is echoes of Rodney King, "Can't we all just get along". The new pleas from the left for harmony are just as ridiculous as when the pleas of peace came from a man who's troubles all began when he decided to assault some police officers.

Well, they can all get along if they want to. I am here to declare today, this is a "no getting along zone". There will be no getting along with libs here. There will be no forgetting the last 8 years. There will be no forgiveness. I want to make clear, I intend to raise some Hell. Want to join me?

Count me in, I'm always up for a good scrap. And as my old grandpa used to say, "If you can't beat em, get more friends and try again."

I am one who is sad with everyone's turn on Bush. All were so pro and then applauding him when the tragedy occured-but then when things don't turn around in their timing...and in a perfect manner-all flip out and blame him for all-when they all supported the steps in the beginning. So hippocritocal. My ex husband, father of my child is in the Army-and was in Iraq for some time, along with others I know-but do you shake you fist at Bush, hate him for that? Would I shake it at him if he had died? No. It would have been a tragedy, and so hard on my child, but I would turn to Jesus for His comfort-knowing, somewhere all things happen for a purpose-and I would know he was with Him, had that happened. I would have extra time with my psychologist. But it would not be Bush's fault. That is so childish. And as for these countries that we've started on...we shouldn't stop...but now it is up to Obama. Peace is pleasant-only when it is true peace...and just leaving, and ignoring, is not true peace.
God bless you all...

They also called President Bush an alcoholic and a drug addict. They were relentless and brutal. He held his held up and showed enormous grace under these horrific attacks.

I try to do my part a little each day!

Those Libs sure do love to dish it out but can't seem to take it. But they shouldn't have to when they can hide behind their cries of racism and political correctness, right?

I love your new header... Rick sent me over, but he didn't tell me what to say about his doodle.

As for stirring it up when it's needed, I think that is an obligation if you are an American. That's why we have the right to free speech.

Greywolfe, like your grandpa's saying

HC, welcome and thanks for stopping by. It is sad how everyone supported Bush and then made him the scape goat-in-chief

Pasadena, good thing the new President doesn't have a drug history huh?

Okra, don't forget the media, another skirt to hide behind

Helen, glad you came over, your welcome back anytime. I agree, we have a duty to exercise our first amendment right and I am not shy about doing it.

Election loss hurt. But now I'm just going to enjoy the ride and will happily go on the attack whenever and wherever it's deserved.

I hopped over from Rick's place to check out your header...NICE!

After reading your post I must say that I agree to a point. I just heard it said that now we are all feeling a sense of unity. Huh? I'm sorry, but I feel very ununified in all of this. My believes and views are being compromised all over the place.

Oh my, the word "change" has a whole new meaning for me and it aint purdy.
