Quote Of The Week

I realize my quote from last week was from George Bush but since this is his last week in office, I will do give him the space again.

"Like all who have held this office before me, I have experienced setbacks," Bush said. "And there are things I would do differently if given the chance. Yet I have always acted with the best interests of our country in mind. I have followed my conscience and done what I thought was right."

I cannot think of a better summation of his Presidency. In thanks for all he has done for him, I salute George Bush with the proud Eagle

Thanks, Chuck. Very nice.
I sure hope he feels our gratitude and support...till the day he dies...many years from now, hopefully.
I know he's not the type of man to do all he did, sticking to his guns, and then turning his back and saying "It's HIS job now"....but I hope he gets some rest from the incredible daily toll.

Woman Honor Thyself, thanks

Cube, I thought it summed him up well

Z, I was reading my local rag when I got home tonight and one thing that was in there is all that he has done for people with AIDs in Africa. This is interesting in that this is a cause the libtards should be real interested in and they were, until George Bush championed it. Now all of a sudden it's not a real problem.

I will make an easy prediction. B. Hussein will take up the cause and we will have Whoopie and Rosie doing a telathon for him.

Good one.

I only hope he does right by Ramos and Compean before he leaves office.

If it doesn't happen, and twilight's fast approaching, I hope some future interviewer will really grill him on it, so we can get a good answer and rationale on why this didn't happen. Especially when I think of all the pardons that have taken place.

Out where i'm staying for now, the press are rabidly anti-Bush, when they're not barracking for Hamas and the palis that is. The bush hatred is rabid and unquenchable almost. It's why i doubt he will ever be remembered fairly around the world.
