CIA Director Leon Panetta accusing Dick Chaney of wanting the United States to suffer another terrorist attack to prove his point that the Obama administration's foreign policy is unsafe.
I'm not going to spend any time on this because it's idiotic enough to stand on it's own.
What I do find curious though is this.
"The Director does not believe the former Vice President wants an attack," CIA spokesman Paul Gimigliano said in a statement to CNN. "He did not say that. He was simply expressing his profound disagreement with the assertion that President Obama's security policies have made our country less safe. Nor did he question anyone's motives."
So the Director could make time to go sit for an interview for The New Yorker but cannot make time to clarify his remarks later?
Panetta has to send a spokesman to explain his idiotic comment, Obama has to explain Sotomayor's racist "Hispanic woman" comment for her. Can any of these people speak for themselves?
