This Makes Me Want To Vomit

Lockerbie Bomber Freed From Prison on Compassionate Grounds

The man responsible for the 1988 Lockerbie bombing returned home to Libya on Thursday to cheering crowds, and throngs of people waving posters of the convicted killer, who flew to his native country to die after Scotland released him from prison.

I can't help think that all of these people can go to Hell. Sorry but this pissed me off.

on COMPASSIONATE GROUNDS....I just saw video of the Scottish Justice Minister announcing that as the reason for letting this creep go free.
270 innocent people died and he's getting off on COMPASSIONATE grounds and the Libyans were rejoicing at the airplane...he got ON the plane in Scotland very sick, holding cloths to his face and sporting what looked like a breathing tube.....the next shot I saw was the plane arrived in Libya and some guy pumping the air with two arms...it seems to be him.

I hate being too UNcompassionate, but as an American who lost countryman, this REALLY frosts me, too, Chuck.

Chuck, have no fear. They will wind up in hell. Palestinians & Philistines--same thing a few centuries apart. It will be the same thing for all the rest who evolved from similar roots. Spawn of the devil are always cursed.

Not much short term help, but in the long run…

Yep. This too filled me with similar sentiments.

*Sigh* *Shaking head* Will we soon see a reversal of life here? An alternate universe where good citizens are sitting behind bars for living moral lives and speaking out against evil, while the criminals rule the streets and have free reign to do as they wish...?

This story is beyond irritating or frustrating. It is just wrong. But the definitions of "wrong" and "right" are being smeared and eraticated in this current world society. Imagine what it will be like in ten years...or even five...or even two...

Z, this has nothing to do with compassion. He showed none whatsoever. I think the thing that pissed me off the most though was the celebration. Takes me back to 9/11 when the Palastinians were celebrating in the street. Excuse the language but I get pissed every time I think of us dealing with these pieces of shit.

LomaAlta, the sooner the better

PCC and DaBlade, agreed

Leslie, it is already that way in the Middle East. Christians trying to live their lives in peace are harrassed and killed while terrorists are revered.

Someone in Scotland, who has an office, desk, and a pen had to sign their name somewhere for this to happen. I would love to know who it was.

Compare and contrast the following 3 presidents:

1) Ronald Reagan - Sends F111A to bomb Libya in response to terrorst attacks (on my birthday, no less)

2) George Bush - sends troops into Iraq, threatens Libya, Libya dismantles WMDs.

3) Barack Obama - "Deeply regrets" the release of this bomber.

That's foreign policy?

Exactly the kind of thing that lets murdering terrorists think they are doing something right. I have always believed that "life in prison" is only fitting if the sentence is carried out. Compassion has no meaning when you are talking about someone who deliberately ended the lives of 270 human beings who did him no harm.

Libya's response makes me just as angry as I was when I saw Palestinians dancing and celebrating in Gaza on 9/11.

Those leading britain were always a low type of parasite if you ask me, but this is a new despicable low, even for them.

LA, needs a good dose of unemployment

Randy, loved his response

Hoosier/Anonymous :) agreed. I remember how pissed I was on 9/11

MK, their chickens may be coming home to roost

//needs a good dose of unemployment//

I was thinking more along the lines of a prison term.

LA, not a bad thought
