Can You Say "Sacrificial Lamb"?

Ethics Committee Starts Probes of Two Lawmakers, Defers Another One

Look at these passages:

The House ethics committee announced Wednesday that it is extending probes into two lawmakers -- Democrat Maxine Waters of California and Republican Sam Graves of Missouri -- in unrelated cases while it deferred investigation into a case involving Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.

In a news release the panel said the committee extended the probe into Graves for 45 days even though the Office of Congressional Ethics did not find a "substantial reason to believe" that the lawmaker was guilty of any misconduct and had found information "that may contain exculpatory evidence" which was never provided to Graves.

A statement by the panel on Waters gave no indication what the probe was covering, but it is possible that Waters is under investigation for her role in the decision to provide $12 million in federal bailout funds to OneUnited Bank, where her husband, Sidney Williams, had served on the board and owned a minimum of $500,000 in stock in 2007

So, they extended a probe against Waters who appears to have broken laws and at the same time extended one against Graves even though it appears he is innocent?

Anyone else think this stinks?

Awful, Chuck..but typical. Waters is SO BAD.

Hey, Chuck, if you find the time, as an RN, could you come answer Ducky and my question about Always On Watch's husband who's suffered a stroke? You'll see it at my place on top for now.
Thanks..xxx I'm going to ask Brooke from Paleocon, too, she's also a nurse, as you know, I guess!

Waters is a disgrace to America, Congress, California, and her racial group.

Z, stopped by. Thank you for asking.

Shoprat, agreed

Most people that visit me also follow AOW. For those who don't, keep her and her husband in your thoughts and join us in praying for a speedy and full recovery.

Chuck, this is just a minor example of the use of national and local police (to crush the opposition) that is coming if the Congress stays under Democrat control and Obama is not ejected from office as a Kenyan usurper.

And i can see the MSM scum portraying Graves as guilty, sort of report breathlessly that he's under suspicion and then conveniently forget to mention later that he was cleared. And try not to report much on Waters, sort of sweep it under the rug.

LomaAlta, it is stunning how one sided the Dems have been. The GOP did investigate themselves while they controlled Congress

MK, you do know your American media
