What Do These People Have in Common?

What do Yasser Arafat, Jimmy Carter, and Barack Obama have in common?

If you guessed that they have all exhibited, to some degree or another, anti-semitism you would only be partially correct.

This award ceased to be relevant long ago when Arafat, a terrorist, won for his efforts to create peace in the Middle East.

Can the trophy be melted down and applied toward his deficit?

DaBlade, you would need a lot of them

Chuck, I am embarrassed as an American that Carter, and especially Obama, got a Nobel Peace prize.

Yes, they join the ranks of such great people as the terrorist and pedophile Arafat. It is curious that anti-Semitism, socialism/communism, and anti-Americanism seem to be basic selection criteria for the Nobel Committee. How horribly far down the Politically Correct road of falsehoods and self loathing that many Europeans have gone. Eurarabia is probably a fitting name for much of Europe in the future.

Wish we had a Congress with guts enough to make it illegal for anyone to correspond in any way, nominate anyone, or receive a prize or commendation from the Nobel Committee in Norway.

Oh well. Nice daydream.

LomaAlta, I was actually thinking about the same thing about Congress too. I did see one point made in that 4 of the last 7 winners were adversaries of Bush. Carter, Gore, ElBaradei, Obama. Coincidence?

Very good analysis. Right on the money.

I agree with most of the pundits. The nobel prize committee are a bunch of leftists jerks who see Hussein Obama as a weak President and or a President who will weaken the US as a power in the world. Well, Hussein Obama already done this very thing so about the only other thing these leftists jerks can hope for is to help Hussein continue America's slide in the world as a world power much like they saw with Carter and Clinton.

You bring up a good point. Most socialists are anti-Semitic, and Obama has definately shown himself to lean in that direction.

This whole thing is comically absurd. I don't know what else to say!

I wonder what Obama will do with the million dollars. It should be an ethics violation for him to accept it while being a sitting President, IMO.

Professor, agreed. The best analysis I have seen so far is Rush when he said that the comittee was rewarding Obama for gutting the US as a super power

The Nobel Peace Prize just told Obama, Look, we love what you're doing, you are destroying your country as a superpower. Keep it up, bud!

Patriot, agreed

I had forgotten that Arafat won the peace prize. That actually makes me feel better.

I'm not apocolyptic, but the fact that the world is recognizing (or believing) that the president is so good and wonderful is actually scaring me. At first I wanted to be sick, now I'm very afraid.

Arafat and Obama are just more proof that the best way to the Nobel is at least silent acceptance of terrorism

The last bunch of NPP winners have been real prizewinners. BO is in good company with them.
