Read This, What's Wrong With It?

Anger over alphabet ends in arrest

A man is accused of holding his 4-year-old daughter's head under the water in the kitchen sink at their Yelm home Sunday night because she would not recite the alphabet, according to police and court papers.

The Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed a charge of second-degree assault of a child against Joshua Ryan Tabor, 27, on Tuesday. His arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 16.

According to court records:

Yelm police responded to a disturbance Sunday night after Tabor’s girlfriend reported that Tabor, a Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldier, “was irate, intoxicated and walking around the neighborhood with his Kevlar helmet threatening to break windows.”

Why do they always mention that it is a soldier?

If it is a plumber do you read that he was walking around carrying a plunger? Or a carpenter was walking around with his tool belt on? Or an RN was walking around in scrubs?

I hope the SOB gets what is coming to him for torturing this little child and I further hope he has a real good time in prison.

Why is it relevant that he is in the military though?

The only relevance is that it coincides with the MSM's agenda of bashing the military.

You are correct, any other profession and we very likely would've heard no mention.

That said, I hope the MP's arrested this asshat and got him started a bit early on his punishment.

They don't JUST mention if a person is a soldier. They would have also mentioned if he had been a Republican politician or a prominent Christian. They would NOT, however, mention if he had been Muslim, a union worker, or a prominent Democrat.

I agree with Brooke and TC ...

The indisputable message is that the military teaches people how to drown four-year olds. It’s part of the ‘aggression training’ that the military forces peace loving recruits to endure. It transforms people from law-abiding, up-standing people into baby killers. So I’m glad I could help with this, Chuck.

The press are idiots.

Mustang out

Oh, the same reason why people with Arab names who commit acts of terrorism AREN'T referred to as "Muslims."

Brooke, agreed. I do not in any way diminish what he did, he's scum.

TC, agreed. Surprised he was not a Caucasian, right-wing, fundamentalist Christian

Mustang, it's part of basic training isn't it? How else could have they learned to kill babies so efficiently in Vietnam and Iraq?

Karen, or Hispanics, etc.

I am surprised that they didn't count the number of Bibles in the house.

Why indeed Chuck, it's because the military needs to be painted in the worst light possible, that's how the left think.

Shoprat, agreed

MK, it is how they view the military

Gah! Every opportunity is taken to slam our military.

I'm sick of it, sick of it, sick of it.

Chuck said...

AOW, isn't it sick. More than that, it detracts from the focus on the crime

The LSM is always quick to focus on the military in any wrong doing except when it came to the murdering Muslim terrorist who just happened to be a Major in the Army. Now ain't that strange?
