Quote Of The Week

“The meeting with President Obama today was productive and necessary, and I was glad to hear him speak frankly about where we stand on health care legislation. He said the public option – a well-known and long-standing progressive priority – lacks enough Senate support to be included in the final package. However, he personally committed to pursue a public option after passage of the current bill.

Gasp, we are being promised that the public option is not on the table anymore.

The bottom line is that we are being lied to on an epic scale. Obama is making public statements and then meeting with Democratic leaders to plot a way around the promises he makes.

If you know of anyone that does not fully understand the need to retake Congress this year, slap them.

Definitely not a surprise.

You might want to check out this recent essay by Mark Steyn. Some good insights.

Back and forth, back and forth...

It's almost as if the OBL admin gets up in the morning and flips a coin to determine their policy for the day.

I am sure that within a thousand or so pages the Dimwits will insert a big ole "hole" in which to try to get the "public option" in at a later date. Maybe piggyback it in on the tail of a troop appropriation, as they often try to do. This will require vigilance for some time to come.

I'm prepared to do more than slap em Chuck!!!! LOL!!!

I doubt it'll help though.
