Has Anyone Here Read This Bill?

Napolitano Admits She Hasn't Read Arizona Immigration Law in 'Detail'

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano admitted Monday that she has not read the controversial Arizona immigration law even though she's gone on television to criticize it, and continued to assert that it was "bad law enforcement law."

The admission comes after Attorney General Eric Holder, who earlier warned the law could create a "slippery slope" toward racial profiling, told a House committee last week that he had not read the bill either. On Tuesday, State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said he too had not read the bill, even as he defended diplomatic official Michael Posner for comparing the law to Chinese human rights violations.

So, they are all against it and they will tell us why as soon as they know what it says. Any questions?

Damn this administration: Pelosi, Holder, Napolitano, the lot. They spout off criticism without reading what they're criticizing. This is like a fifth grader writing a book report on a book never read, and we call that cheating. Heh.

Well, in the case of Pelosi, it's "We have to pass the bill so that we can know what's in it." I call that POLITICAL MALPRACTICE!

Seriously Chuck, I could not be more disgusted with government. The truth is, if any of these idiots were in the Marine Corps, they'd all be in the brig within the first 30 days and end up with an undesireable discharge.

And that is exactly what I think this administration and the leadership (cough) on the Hill warrants: UNDESIREABLE DISCHARGE.

Bah!

AOW, they know the media will not call them on it. And they are right.

Mustang, they even lie about being in the service. (See Connecticut)

Great post it seems that every political figure from a potential sup court justice to the DA, touts how against the law they are, but has not even bothered to read the thing. How can you be against something that you do not even know the content of ~? Amazing.

On another note, I find it deplorable that 'we' are saying sorry to China for "human rights violations" ie Arizona immigration law....when China is one of the biggest human rights violators in the world. Guess what happens when an illegal alien wanders into China, they are sent back home, shot, or jailed. China violates personal freedoms in every area from how many children people can have to what they can look at on the internet. Why would we say sorry for enforcing our law, but especially to an A+ human rights violating country like China.

Sorry about the rant:(

I'm just glad someone is quizzing them and holding them to account. So at least there's a slim chance that the public will see these dishonest slimeballs for what they really are.

None of these hacks are reading ANY legislation they are against or even passing!

As AOW said, it is malpractice!

Not reading the bill, the law? What else is new? When has anyone in this administration every read anything. They for sure have not read the Constitution but yet claim to be Constitutional "lawyers".
Nappy is just another of the unqualified appointees in this administration. She probably can not pass the security check necessary for her to even have access to the information required to run such an agency, Obummer certainly could not!

I'm with you Mustang, give them an UNDESIRABLE DISCHARGE! Better yet throw them in the Brig, that's were most of them belong anyhow.

"Any questions?" Yes; can we get rid of ALL of them TODAY?

Jo, rant away. We also didn't raise a fuss when Iran was put on the UN women's rights council

MK, they see. Not on the news but on line

Brooke, they let their aides do it. We have congressional and executive aides running our country

Ticker, I believe they have read the Constitution - they just choose to ignore it

Z, you have to wait a few months like the rest of us

Calderon was slamming it today. I suppose he hasn't read it either.

No one read the Obamacare bill either. We aren't being served by our government anymore. We are serving a nearly permanent class of worker that feverishly works only to increase it's own worth.

Ticker: Nappy? lol.

If it's not over 2,000 pages then it's not worth their valuable time. And they'll get to the ones over 2,000 pages when they're finished coifing their locks and injecting their botox. Just trust them.

Sure the left doesn't read the AZ bill, but they don't even read thier own bills. So it all evens out, you see?

Janet Napolitano is the third Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security and is leading the Democrat's collective efforts to destroy our country by ignoring the threats we face - from terrorism to natural disasters....Why should she bother reading anything that would help keep America free, strong, and proud?

LA, now we have the Dems in Congress applauding him

Cube, there's a solution - we can fix this in November

DaBlade, yeah right - trust them

Kevin, good point
