Did you hear Obama's quote "They can't have the keys back"? Talk about campaign mode; sentences like that SINK IN to the electorate and the WH is VERY well aware of that and ON IT. :-(
According to our Founding documents, when government becomes the enemy, it's time for a revolution, revolution defined as restoring Constitutional rights.
What I want most to see is people laying aside politics as usual and making decisions about what is best for the people they represent. I begin to suspect that Babeau is transforming this situation into one that favors him politically. I don’t know where the line is on this … I only know that I don’t want servants of the people to cross that line. I want officials to make the right decisions because it is the right thing to do. Meanwhile, as we ignore the danger of porous borders, the geniuses in Washington have decided to sell sophisticated F-15s to Saudi Arabia …
I agree with Babeu's conclusion, but it's very disconcerting when I think of the possible outcomes of this unusual situation. This is all wrong and Washington DC just doesn't get it.
Barbeau has it right. George Washington warned us: “Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”
It is getting to the place now where we can suspect most to every politician of using something in current events to transform their own political careers. But that would be completely cynical now, wouldn't it?

Would that we had a man like Babeau in charge.
Absolutely 'nuff said!
We live in a time where the offenses against We The People have become too great to bear!

Z, I think the public is hearing Obama alright, that's why his numbers are sinking. They want to hear actually say something.
Brooke, agreed
AOW, we very well could see one this November
Will of the people, so much for that eh.
MK< guess it depends on which "people" you are talking about.
