Quote Of The Week

An attack on one who serves is an attack on all who serve.

John Boehner, Speaker of the House

I couldn't agree more. Opposition is one of the pillars of a free country but violence is never acceptable.

Our prayers with Ms Giffords, her family, and all that have been touched by this senseless tragedy.

I've been hearing about the wound that Giffords sustained. A grave wound, of course.

Yesterday, America as a whole was attacked by that murderous maniac Loughner.

Today, the mainstream media are flinging arrows at the Right.

Bad days ahead for America -- especially with regard to freedom to dissent. I posted a bit on that matter.

No, opposition is one of the pillars of a free country but violence is never acceptable. You are right about that..
However we must not stand by and let the left blame us for every Nut-Job that walks the earth.
We do not have to remain silent and let them blame us for the horrendous acts that we are not responsible for.

AOW and Malcontent, the right needs to fight back against the charges.

Yes, prayers for all of the families harmed by this evil man.

The left is clueless and vile. There is such a thing as personal responsibility.

Brooke, not much talk about the shooter being responsible huh?

And what of the shooter's family? He lived at home. Didn't his parents note the danger signs?

Chuck said...

AOW, it sounds like a lot of people noticed them - just no one acted on it.

Chuck,
No, the right will sit on their hands as usual and play nice thinking that people will like them for not fighting. They fail to understand that a lie spoken often enough is soon taken for the truth.

Ticker, there are some in the media (mostly Fox and Drudge) that are fighting back. I think it's wait and see for now. You are right about the GOP though, they're sissies.

Agreed Chuck. I would also add prayers that the usual haters and bigots refrain from persecuting those of us who are overwhelmingly peaceful and non violent and not responsible in any way for the actions of this lone extremist.
