What Do You Think About This?

I have a simple question for this week.

Where does this "it's all Sarah Palin's fault" argument go from here?

There are still many on the left flinging accusations at her and others like Rush, Beck, etc even though the theory that this is their fault has been completely debunked.

Does the left win this one or will this deceitful attack backfire on them?

Will this be a case of repeating a lie enough times makes it real or will the public get enough information through to where the left is finally shown for what it is, deceitful and intolerant?

Finally, does anyone in the Republican Party have any balls at all? Is there anyone with the stones to stand up and say "enough of this horseshit, stop with the lies"?

What do you think?

I have actually given this a great deal of thought. I conclude that while imagination is a wonderful thing, we have a multitude of people in this country with over-active imaginations; we are able to evaluate this on a sliding scale. People imagine, for example, that they are part of the left intelligentsia. At the top of this scale, you find people like Hillary Clinton, Van Jones, Barack Obama, Bill Ayers and George Soros; they think of themselves as about the smartest people alive. They may think this, but they are not even close.

The people I’ve mentioned have become useful idiots of Marxist ideology; they are tools of Chomsky, Marcuse, Zinn, Alinsky, and Cloward/Piven. They think there are serious things wrong with America, and they’ve determined to make “fundamental changes” to American society. They wish to destroy what our founding fathers gave us.

In the middle of the scale you find nitwits like Ducky; they are the pretenders because they select about twelve seconds in the life of a bona fide communist and made it their entire reason for living and the basis of their every argument.

You will find most certifiable morons at the bottom of this scale. They do not often listen to the news; they are self-absorbed. They don’t read magazines. They don’t read books. They are incapable of critical thinking. The source of their understanding is televised sound bites. There is no limit to how long ago they may have heard the sound bite, but it is their total knowledge of anything political. They elected Barack Obama, and they’ll defend their stupidity to the end. It doesn’t matter if the sound bites were bald-faced lies. You can test this by asking one of these morons to explain why unborn babies don’t have a right to life …

This is the state of our present society. Don’t go to Daily KOS or Huffington Post to test this theory; instead, go to Fox News blogs and read the piece by James Rosen (1/10/11) and read some of the comments. It’s almost enough to cause a sane person to purchase an island somewhere …

I won't depend on the republicans to defend us, if anything they'll probably join the mob of leftist racists and bigots to persecute us.

I have released a statement in response to the knee-jerk bigotry and vitriol from the left over this dreadful incident at my blog. In essence - I don’t believe this incident should be used as a reason to infringe upon the rights of ordinary, peaceful Christians, Gun Owners and Conservatives in America. They are good people who have done nothing wrong and do not deserve to be persecuted and their voices silenced. We are supposed to live in a progressive, democratic and free society, so people are entitled to their equal opportunity and if anything liberals should support more rights for the law abiding, peaceful Christians, Gun Owners and Conservatives not less.

I understand that liberals would be eager for justice to be done and seeing as how they are not concerned with facts, evidence or reason when persecuting us over something we are plainly not responsible for; I’m sure they would join me in calling for the insanity defense to be disallowed for Jared Lee Loughner and a speedy execution for the him after a fair trial. After all, if they are so angry with Sarah Palin, peaceful Christians, Gun Owners and Conservatives; they should be far angrier at the man who did the actual shooting, no?

Lastly, I believe that liberals in America and the world over who cannot sponsor a gun show or attend a local church as a sign of tolerance and acceptance, can at least do the following as a positive contribution to the situation, if you don’t believe in shooting Democrats, then don’t shoot one. If you hate, fear or feel your bowels loosening at the mere thought of gun ownership, then don’t buy one.

As long as we have a complicit media that feeds the frenzy from the leftists' perspective, it's an uphill battle. But it can be won by continuing to point out the lies, the smears, the exaggerations, the innuendos, etc.

I visited a local news site ran by a local statehouse political reporter who has been doing it for around 20 years or so. Here is his post very short text in it's entirety:

//Any talk of Tea Party responsibility in the Arizona shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords has apparently had no effect on Tea Party activity here.

Greg Fettig of the Indiana Party just sent out a news release confirming plans to hold a January 22nd meeting to identify a candidate who might unseat Republican Richard Lugar in the 2012 primary. The release makes no mention of outside events.
//

The first part contained such a subtle innuendo. In other words he is implying, with all that's going on with the AZ shooting it's amazing that the IN TEA Party is still conducting business as usual.

I called him on it, he answered me saying he didn;t think he made that kind of judgment. I thanked him for his response but pointed out the subtle underlying message of this and other reporting he has done about citizen involvement against the status quo.

I doubt I did much good, but if I could have just planted a small seed that he should be wary of his words, because bias does not always have to be outward and overt, to be bias.

Will it backfire?

If we keep on top of the facts and stay on this like odor on feces, we can counter this round of merciless onslaught. But it will not be long before the next round comes, with another incident down the road, and once again the left will use it to pound the gun toting bible thumping redneck whackos. The racist argument didn;t work, so now this is all they have.

Mustang, first you are giving Ducky waaay too much credit. He's a mean spirited, retarded little cretin. Realize also that something like 25% of young adults get their news from comedians on fake news shows.

MK, actually under leftist ideology, the shooter himself is pretty much getting a pass. This isn't his fault after all he was drive to do this by Sarah Palin, a woman he possibly never even followed. In other words, leftists are idiots.

LA, I think the liberal media is dying and I think this may speed their demise. In the days after the shooting we are seeing more and more articles from different news sources attacking the media and the rest of the left for their actions this weekend. They have no defense.

I will address all three questions very briefly as I have to get ready to go to work.
Does the left win this one or will this deceitful attack backfire on them?

The left will win this one, particularly for those who listen mostly to the mainstream media.

Will this be a case of repeating a lie enough times makes it real or will the public get enough information through to where the left is finally shown for what it is, deceitful and intolerant?

Many Americas put faith in the mainstream media. Plus, I think that BHO is going to put forth a dignified and appropriate response to the tragedy in Tucson.

Finally, does anyone in the Republican Party have any balls at all? Is there anyone with the stones to stand up and say "enough of this horseshit, stop with the lies"?

Maybe a few in the GOP. But not most of them.

LA's point that we have a complicit media is well taken.

I heard some people blaming Bush as well.

Jim Clyburn (from my own state) thinks representatives should be treated differently than everyone else. So I guess it's ok for him and his crew to say anything and expect Palin and crew to keep our mouths shut.

Good question. Republicans are terrified of the bad publicity that will be piled upon them from the Obamarrhoids in the press.

AOW, the one good thing here is that the audience for the far left media is shrinking

Randy, I've been seeing Clyburn make an ass of himself. Is he going to also hod them to a higher standard for civility? Sorry you have to have him in your state. If it's any comfort, we had Kwame Kilpatrick

Cube, Obamarrhoids - that is too funny

I was glad to see the pics in my mailbox and sorry that they didn't show up on the blog page. However.I don't think that the left is going to win this one. There are plenty of ways right now to disseminate information and this blog is using one of them. We all have a voice. Sometimes it's on blogs or twitter or facebook, and sometimes it's just at the office water cooler. The key is to not be cowed every time the people without critical thinking skills call you a racist or a hatemonger.
