What Do You Think About This?

Evan Emory charged with 20-year felony for YouTube video that authorities say 'victimized' Ravenna children

This is a case that is about a week old here in West Michigan and I am still unsure about how it should be handled. Read the article and give me your thoughts.

Quote of The Week

"I’m proud to be here with people who understand that it’s more than just sending an email to get you going,"..."Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary."

Rep. Michael Capuano (D-Mass.)

This was said in response to the fight in Wisconsin over collective bargaining.

Just one more shinning example of how tolerant and moderate the speech of liberals is. Thank God they're not as incendiary as those damned Tea Partiers.

Oklahoma Police Captain Faces Disciplinary Action for Refusing to Attend Islamic Event

The police in Tulsa, Oklahoma solved a criminal case involving the Islamic center and arrested a suspect. In return the Islamic center wanted to have an appreciation day to recognize the officers.

No one signed up to volunteer to go and so the Captain was ordered to make some of the officers go. The Captain refused and was disciplined. He is now suing the police department.

CAIR of course got involved and it naturally turned into anti-Islamic bigotry.

A couple of things here.

This was not a day to honor the officers:

However, according to a promotional flyer, the Islamic event included not just food and entertainment, but “presentations” on “beliefs, human rights, and women.” They would also be able to watch a Muslim prayer service and take a tour of the mosque.

It was a day of indoctrination.

There is also this which highlights the real goal of Muslims, to force Sharia beliefs on the US:

“When somebody feels empowered to say ‘I’m not going to take part in a community outreach event at a mosque because I basically don’t like Muslims,’ it’s all part of that rise in Islamophobia in our society,”

Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for CAIR.

These bastards run on and on about tolerance and freedom in the US but do not show it in their home country and do not want the people of the US to have the right to turn their backs on Muslims? WTF? So is it tolerance they want or ass-polishing?

Why Isn't This Woman In Jail?

Mom: Teacher made kids beat son

A kindergarten teacher had all of the boys in her class line up and beat up a boy who hit another boy.

She is not only not in jail, she's still in the classroom.

What the Hell is going on in our classrooms?

Why isn't this woman still trying to pick up her teeth from the classroom floor after mom picked the kid up?

Quote of The Week

"I won. So I think on that one, I trump you."

Barack Obama, January 23, 2009.

Think about this quote in the context of Obama and every other liberal in the country fighting against newly elected Governor Walker of Wisconsin.

The Obama Administration Defined

Read this article and especially watch the video.

Hillary Clinton is giving a speech about the wonders of free speech and the bravery of the protesters in Egypt and expressing disappointment that the government cut off protest on the internet, phones, etc. - all while a protester is arrested in the audience.

Watch for her lack of reaction to the events in the audience.

This folks is the Obama administration defined.

Constitution Free Zones?

University to Change Policy Defining Religious Discrimination as Oppression by Christians

Read the article.

The University of California-Davis had a document called The Principles of Community. In this document, religious discrimination was defined as:

“The loss of power and privilege to those who do not practice the dominant culture’s religion. In the United States, this is institutionalized oppressions toward those who are not Christian.”

According to the Constitution of the United States of America:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

Amendment I

The courts of course have generally recognized "Congress" to mean any government entity. What is most ironic is that most of these court cases have been brought by liberals from the same mold as those at UC Davis to prevent anyone and everyone form putting a manger in front of Smalltown City Hall.

It is not my intention to discus the policy because it is obviously absurd.

No my question is; why is it that we are allowing college campuses to become havens for liberals to be free of Constitutional constraints?

For decades now US college campuses have inhibited free speech, by conservatives.

They have been tolerant of any aberrant lifestyle imaginable but don't go out of their way to support the students who choose to live a healthy, straight lifestyle with a wife and children.

Right to peaceful assembly is selectively enforced. On one of the Grand Rapids area campuses, one you would consider fairly conservative by national standards, a conservative group was not allowed to have a bake sale because they were critical of homosexuality. Do you think the campus chapter of the LBGT was denied this access?

Right to redress of grievances. College campuses are structured to where liberal groups have much more success at appealing decisions than conservatives.

Now we have thrown out religious freedom.

So the question again. Why is this being tolerated? Why is it that college administrations can ignore the constitutional rights of it's students like this? They are a governmental entity. They are funded by our tax dollars. Wouldn't you think they would be required to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America?

Simply Get Out?

We have all been following the situation in Egypt. President Mubarak is out and the Muslim Brotherhood may be taking control.

Then we have Iran. Opposition protests are surfacing again and the government is threatening to execute opposition leaders.

Iraq and Afghanistan are both still a shit-hole.

Libyan leader Gaddafi is starting to make noise again and it seems as if other nutbags in the Muslim world may be listening to him a little bit.

Indonesia is trying to stake a claim as the arm pit of the world.

Now, in today's headlines, we have these two articles:

Critics Slam U.S. Government, Media for 'Weak' Response to Anti-Christian Attacks

Read the article although the headline speaks volumes. Christians are constant targets of the peace loving and tolerant Muslims.

CBS News' Lara Logan Assaulted During Egypt Protests

According to this article a reporter for CBS was kidnapped, beaten and, and raped by a group of thugs in the street.

The point here?

A large majority of the people in the Muslim world are savages. Most of the international violence and almost all of the terrorism in the last 30 - 40 years has originated there.

It's a foreign culture with foreign values.

They hate us and don't want us in their countries.

So why are we there?

One of the obvious reasons is oil. We need it, they have it. This has many simple solutions.

Drill here in the US. We have a lot of oil, use it.

Buy it from Venezuela. Yes, we have that small issue of the country being run by a lunatic but a few million dollars worth of weaponry in the right hands would fix that problem.

Work on alternative fuels. There isn't an obvious choice for replacing fossil fuels right now but this doesn't mean we can't develop something.

Take away the oil money from the Middle East countries and they have nothing. Take away the oil money and terrorism goes away.

We are not the only consumers of their oil but they would be hard pressed to survive without us. Further, don't do business with countries that do business with them.

Finally, there is the issue of Israel. We are a stabilizing influence for them. Without us in the region they would be a target. This is another surmountable problem. Cut off foreign aid to the Muslim countries and give some of it to Israel for defense. Provide military aid. Put a base there if they are willing. We could protect them. This would become easier over time too because as funds dried up in the Muslim world, the threat to Israel would diminish.

Maybe it sounds simple but I say we just get out. Leave them to continue their millennia-long struggle of killing each other over a few acres of sand. The rest of the civilized world can go about it's business safe and sound.

What Do You Think About This?

What a cracking outfit! Lady Gaga turns up to Grammys in an EGG (but she wasn't Born This Way)

What do you think? Can this chick get any freakier?

There's a part of me that finds this insane and ridiculous. Another part of me is annoyed at how very self-absorbed this woman is.

What do you think about all of it?

Quote of The Week

"I say we start looking at every government agency and program that's been created in the last ten years, and let's start making some hard choices,"

Rep Alan West (R-FL)

From what I have seen so far, I like this guy.

I agree with this quote too. Let nothing be sacred. I think if there is a lesson to be learned (because it hasn't been learned yet) is that making cuts doesn't have to hurt.

What I mean is that we could, for instance, cut the budget for veterans benefits. This could be done without cutting one single service for them. I would bet my next paycheck that with all of the waste in our government, we could cut 10% and never miss it.

10% of the 2010 federal budget of $1.3 trillion is $130 billion. Think we can use an extra $130 billion dollars in our pocket?

Economic Harassment?

I don't know what happened here and, quite frankly, if the coach did make racially charged remarks he should be fired. If, for no other reason, that he will have lost all respect of his players.

One thing caught my eye though:

The superintendent said Jason Popp can return to the bench next year after he undergoes sensitivity training.

The state-ranked Richmond Heights team was threatening to boycott the rest of its undefeated season if their coach remained in place, reported.

Tuesday night's game was postponed after Superintendent Linda Hardwick met with parents over the alleged abuse, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

A group of parents had sent a letter to Hardwick (Superintendent Linda Hardwick) complaining Popp (coach Jason Popp) used "inappropriate language, as well as racial and economic harassment,"

Economic harassment? When did this become a protected class? Someone help me. I can't seem to keep up with who is being protected now.

Britain Waking Up To Extremism Threat?

Muslim Students in Britain Reportedly Taught to Chop Off Hands of Thieves, Hate Jews

Read the article

The BBC is running a program on Islamic extremism being taught in private schools in the UK and the Education Secretary has come out and said extremism will not be tolerated.

This is the second article I have seen in the last few days in which a British official has questioned the country's very liberal tolerance of extremist Islam.

This weekend we had PM Cameron come out against Islamic extremism in the country and the previous government's support of it.

David Cameron speaks out against Muslim extremism

Prime minister David Cameron has today (Saturday) pledged to end the acceptance of those who hold extremist religious views.

Are we seeing a change of heart in the UK? Will it rub off on us eventually?

How far do you think this will go? Will the Dems over-rule it? Will Obama be able to veto it and have the veto hold up?

Interestingly, there are some Dem Senators who are facing tough re-election campaigns in 2012 that are signaling a willingness to buck Obama. Is there a possible redo of Obamakare in the works?

What Do You Think About This?

Astronaut Mark Kelly, husband of Rep Gabrielle Giffords has decided to resume training for his flight on the space shuttle Endeavour.

Read the article here.

What do you think about this? I have my thoughts but I am curious as to what others think. Is this being selfish? Is he putting his career ahead of his wife? Is this what you would think she wants? Is there a duty for the commander of the mission that supersedes family?

Misplaced Priorities?

Govt asked to explain failure to stop fatwa

The High Court of Bangladesh had previously ruled that extra-judicial punishment was illegal. The focus of the ruling was to stop the practice of village arbitration leading to fatwa. This is all good and is at least an attempt to stop the practice of using barbaric Islamic law. That is ban the use of it without the consent of the ruling government. The article did not say if the government wants to ban the dispensation of Islamic justice or regulate it.

Since the ruling a 14 year old girl, Hena, was lashed to death in a village. Her crime? She let a 40 year old relative rape her. For this she was sentenced to 100 lashes. After less than 80 lashes she lost consciousness. She was then taken to a health clinic where she died.

Hena was lashed and died the day after she was raped. So in the last 24 hours of her life she was raped and then lashed almost 80 times. The only tolerable moments of the last day of her life were when she finally lost consciousness and was no longer feeling the blows from the whip.

The High Court is demanding an answer as to why this was done and why their ruling was not followed.

Perhaps I should give the High Court kudos here for attempting to curb the practice of local fatwas and I do realize this is only one article. With that said, I walk away from this article thinking that the real issue here is not a 14 year old girl being raped and then beaten to death for it but the matter of the High Court's directives not being followed.

We have children raped and beaten to death here in the US as in any other country in the world. We don't usually have children beaten to death because they were raped however and we certainly do not have village counsels handing down verdicts demanding such.

The point is this is not a problem with the High Court's rulings being ignored, it is a systemic cultural problem and it is not being addressed. Even giving the federal government credit for attempting to stop this, if they really are, (the High Court didn't step in and ask for answers until the press reported on it) this case illustrates the fact that they are ruling over a citizenry made up of savages.

We hear time and time again where there is official outrage in countries in which this happens but it still continues to happen.

As long as Islamic law is practiced around the world, girls like Hena will be raped, tortured, and murdered by it's adherents.

Why Isn't This Guy In Jail?

Rise of Freedom: Consumers, Pols Rail at So-Called 9/11 Coin

Read about this dude.

The allegations are that he is flat out ripping people off. He is selling commemorative 9/11 medallions and according to the article appears to be lying about every single thing about it from the content of the metal to the source of the metal to every thing else.

He over billed one gentleman for over $600.

There's no indication that the state Attorney General has done anything although it appears everyone knows about it. The FTC had this to say: "We agree that these allegations are enormously troubling, and will determine what action by this agency may be appropriate," while refusing as of now to investigate.

I have written this week about a high school girl fined by the police for swearing in class. I have written previously about a middle school child cited by the police for possession of a permanent marker. I posted about a woman here in West Michigan that was investigated and fined by a local agency for advertising for a Christian roommate.

This man seems to be scamming people though and the authorities and various agencies don't have any interest in investigating?

Am I the only one that wonders what the Hell is going on here?

Scientists Find Lost Tribe, And Photograph Them

Does anyone else find this a little ironic?

This tribe is minding their own business. Not bothering anyone.

They get discovered.

They are primitive. They appear to be content. At least no one seems to show any evidence they are suffering in any way.

So what do the scientists do? They buzz them with a plane and photograph them.

My thoughts are they should leave them alone. For one thing, they may be one of the few societies left on the planet that hasn't managed to completely F' itself up.

What are your thoughts?
