Rep. Michael Capuano (D-Mass.)
This was said in response to the fight in Wisconsin over collective bargaining.
Just one more shinning example of how tolerant and moderate the speech of liberals is. Thank God they're not as incendiary as those damned Tea Partiers.

Capuano, who borders on lunacy at almost every turn, was attempting to display what a macho guy he is. “Bloody streets” is an analogy for the days when union thugs went out to beat the crap out of the Strike Breakers or vice versa. He apologized; in today’s world of mulligans, that means his statement about blood in the streets is erased forever —as if he never said it.
One important note, however: the mulligan rule only pertains to leftists.
Mustang, right. If Palin had said something like this there would be an effigy of her hanging somewhere by nightfall.
Didn't Capuano get the civility memo? I don't think anyone on the Left got the memo. I'm sorry....I forgot. That civility memo applies only to those of us on the Right.
I sure have enjoyed seeing all the protesters signs about Walker being Mussolini and Hitler and the hearing their screaming and cursing and threats of harm.
"They’re carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting..." Nancy Pelosi
(Oh wait Nancy - that's you're own folks doing that!)
Calling openly for anarchy, is he? It seems to me that he's showing the true face of the Left.
Capuano was pandering to his backing, unionista thugs.
Alligator, right. Where is the media on the hatred from the left?
AOW, kind of channeling Jimmy Hoffa
Ticker, agreed
