Quote Of The Week

"We are absolutely outraged. This is the functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians,"..."It's time that the District of Columbia told the Congress to go straight to hell."

D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, DC Delegate to the House of Representatives

What is this nutcase Delegate upset about? The budget passed by the GOP bans the use of federal or local funds for abortion in the city of Washington DC.

First, it is already against federal law to use federal funds for abortion and the left seems to have trouble wrapping the heads around this.

Let's ignore that for now though.

Then there is the issue of DC telling Congress to go to hell. How about if we let that armpit support itself?

Let's also ignore that for now.

Preventing the use of government funds to pay for the murder of innocent children is the "functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians"?

Do these people ever stop to think how absolutely retarded they sound? This is just more proof that liberalism is a mental disorder. Based on some of the nonsense we get from the left, one could argue that it is a form of developmental disability.

In my mind, equating bombing innocent civilians with not letting women murder their unborn children goes beyond retarded and goes to being evil.

But then I realize, she is a product of the city that re-elects Marion Barry - whenever he is not in prison.

Her ability to convince constituents of the veracity of the white oppression myth entitles Norton to join a too long list of individuals who have made a fortune by enslaving blacks. I include, of course, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, and Louis Farrakhan. Norton is one of the first black women to join this hall of shame, but she is certainly not the only one.

Abortion mills work to the advantage of black leaders because it reinforces the concept among black people raised in ghetto conditions that there is no reason for them to demonstrate individual responsibility. No one will hold them accountable. Quite the opposite is true.

Since the days of black migration to such places as Detroit, Washington, Baltimore, and New York City, black men have consistently turned their backs upon the women they impregnated, leaving bastard children to languish in ghetto hopelessness.

Given the options facing a black woman with an unwanted pregnancy, which may not be her fault given the incidence of rape in ghetto areas, I can understand how abortion can become the solution of choice. Life is already difficult enough without making it more so having to raise children as a single mother; no one wants to adopt little black babies … so we are made to believe by proponents of abortion-base organizations.

What has Barack Obama done for these people? He has done nothing for them. He also belongs to that long list of black leaders who have made fortunes by convincing black people that white society owes them something.

Mustang, we are not to speak of race. To do so would be racist. We are supposed to sweep these issues under the rug and pretend they don't exist.

It's no wonder Holmes sounds retarded. Look at the constituency she's pandering to.

They also could care less how absurd they sound. When we point it out, we're simply being racist or uncaring.

Last night, the mayor and his cohorts staged a protest against the federal government for no taxation without representation and their being "pawns" in the budget battle -- and made a production number out of their arrests. Of course, this morning, they were out of jail and on the local news bragging about their protest and subsequent arrest -- all in the name of civil rights. What a load! The District of Columbia loves sucking on the teat of the federal government.
