Quote Of The Week

One of the nice things about blogging is sometimes these darned things write themselves. Thanks to Jay Carney, press secretary extraordinaire, this is one of those times.

Now, I'm not going to feign shock at the fact that this President is using photo ops in an attempt — some might say a cynical attempt — to influence public opinion. It would be news if he weren't doing just that.

The question now is whether a few photo-ops will fix the problem — or just make it worse.

It's almost surreal, isn't it, Chuck.

The blatant hypocrisy of this MSM is beyond the pale.

I'm in shock. This looks like the first word of truth to escape the White House in nearly three years,

Brooke, it's become a joke

Phil, it would be if they had actually said it

I remember that so well..... Brooke's right, it IS almost SURREAL.

And remember, wasn't there some scuffle about not showing coffins or anything associated with their homecomings? Suddenly, it's okay because it makes Obama look good?

Obama is pulling out all the stops now that he realizes that his re-election is in serious jeopardy.

It's like they're incapable of seeing their own hypocrisy. I wonder sometimes if it's better to not sink to their level or if we should, just so they know what it's like to be on the receiving end.
