Some Things To Ponder On The Cain Allegations

I have been a little suspect of the accusations against Herman Cain from the beginning. There are just too many things that don't seem to add up.

I have not read Ann Coulter much in the last couple of years. I think there have been times when she gets a little too far out.

She makes some really good points here though.

David Axelrod's Pattern of Sexual Misbehavior

Read the post, it's worth the time.

I read Coulter almost regularly and I found her latest column regarding Cain quite interesting.

I think Mr. Cain has been torpedoed by the left and for nothing because he was never going to be the republican nominee.

I think Cain had a shot, albeit an outside one. But I don't think the Democrats wanted to run against a black conservative.

I don't follow Coulter with any regularity but I think she is right on this one. This whole fiasco has the earmarks of an Axelrod organized Dem hit. Unfortunately, I don't think Cain handled it as well as he could have, should have and that hurt him.

There is the possibility that Cain is a closet dirtbag, but I sure need more proof than what has been presented. I've dealt with personnel issues similar to this. The timing, the connections of the accusers to Dem operatives and the fact that NONE of the allegations come outside of Cain's NRA years is highly suspicious. Guy's who are sexual dirt-bags usually have a long track record, not just three years.

What angers me the most is that the GOP has to come up with a sterling candidate, while the dems can come up with the lowest, unqualified piece of crap and the media will crow about how good it is... how in the world can we win this fight under these conditions?

Cube, I agree about Cain. I think the ammo is wasted

Alligator, he may have had a long shot but I think it was pretty long. Good or bad I think Rommney is the nominee. Dead on about sexual predators. They don't do it for 3 years and then turn it off. He did not handle it well though and this will be his ultimate undoing.

Clearly the left wants to eliminate any true conservative candidate early on; they want a milquetoast that Obama can beat, despite the damage he has done.

Brooke - that's why the Dems want Romney. Obama is going to drag out Romneycare and saw, "See, we're not that different. He actually inspired me." Romney won't be able to refute it and we all know, an endorsement by Obama is the political kiss of death.

Chuck - even Ann Coulter is coming out for Romney now. Not that I put that much stock in her, but I find it interesting given her hard right positions.

Coulter was in the bucket for Romney from early on. She had nothing good to say about Cain. I don't read her but caught her comments on the matter at a friends house. She is NO TRUE CONSERVATIVE. She is in the business to sell books and make $$$. I take anything she says with a grain of salt when it comes to matters of conservatism or a conservative candidate.

Brooke, I think it's going to bite them in the end. I think Romney is the most likely to beat him in the general election

Alligator, I still think Romney is the one to beat Obama. Is he my choice? No. But at the end of the day the only real goal is beating Obama.

Ticker, I think she's a loose cannon. She does more harm than good.

I share your distrust of the MSM, they lie and smear Conservatives and only seldom are they right. Off to catch up on Ann now.
