Chuck - thanks.

I always try to avoid pictures like that - but if people have to suffer in this way then I can at least look at pictures - like those.

Bloviating Joe: Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy.

Maybe Biden is right. Islam is the enemy.

There -- I've said it (again).

Brooke said...

Yes, but you can't have the Taliban without Islam!

Just when I think Biden can't get any dumber, he opens his mouth.

Still, I would prefer him over the current 'eff-up-in-Chief!

A culture that does not respect its own adherents, cannot respect those from another.

I guess it depends on what the meaning of enemy is, right Joe? And as horrible as those pictures are, they don't even begin to cover the atrocities committed on our troops by the followers of the religion of peace.

The buy is a brain dead moron. Where does he come up with this stuff?

Chuck said...

All, read the story of the young lady with the link at the bottom of the post. Her's is a horrific story

Sue, the atrocities don't seem to end over there.

AOW, I don't disagree. I think they are one in the same.

Brooke, you can't fix stupid. He is what he is

LA, well put

Cube, good point

Ticker, remember he was brought on board by Obama for his national security cred...

I am gravely concerned that the "smart power" of our illustrious leaders is going to get more American soldiers killed, if not civilians right here in the homeland.

Who is exchanging fire with U.S. troops this very instant in Afghanistan? Hint: It starts with a "T". This is one reason why I want out of Afghanistan now. We are pouring our blood and treasure into a tribal area (not a real country) and our "leaders" cannot or refuse to identify the enemy, the terms of victory or even explain why we are still there after 10 years.

Joe exemplifies the "smart power" so prevalent in this administration. These people are the either the most inexperienced, inept politicians (even for socialists) or they are deliberately trying to weaken and crash US military might on the rocks of Afghanistan.

Those are the only two options that make any sense to me.
